JOB DESCRIPTION: Focuses on designing and developing enterprise-wide repositories for all corporate data storage typically utilizing SQL-based database products including DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and other database systems, or other specialized decision support or expert systems. Defines requirements and tools to interface all current and legacy data into a central data warehouse. May also help define the usage of queries and reporting tools to support corporate business units or external customers when combining and analyzing large volumes of information contained within the corporate data warehouse.
Database Administrator
OTHER TITLES: DBA
YEARS EXPERIENCE: Junior 1-2/Mid-Level 3-5/Senior 6+
EDUCATION: BS/BA Required
CERTIFICATION/TRAINING: Certified DBA, Oracle DBA, or SQL Server Preferred
JOB DESCRIPTION: Creates physical database tables, typically from designs provided by the database analyst or data modeler. Administers and controls an organization's data resources, including multiple relational databases and servers. Performs physical database design, works with system administrators and uses data dictionary software packages to ensure data integrity and security, recovers corrupted data and eliminates data redundancy. Uses tuning tools to improve database performance. Requires expertise with Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server or other relational databases. Works with the applications development teams(s), focusing on the back-end portion of data storage considerations and performance considerations for application systems being developed.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Designs and builds complex relational databases and data warehouses. Works with technical as well as end users to understand business requirements and identify data solutions. Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database on an enterprise level. Significant experience with the design, development and maintenance of enterprise level data systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata or others. Works in conjunction with and may provide leadership and direction to a team of database developers to meet technical requirements. Database Architects must also have in depth expertise with data security, storage solutions, database virtualization and replication as well as other complex technical tools and solutions.
Database Analyst/Data Modeler

EDUCATION: BS/BA Required
JOB DESCRIPTION: Uses data modeling techniques and tools in analyzing and specifying data structures to be implemented within an application system. In a client/server development environment, responsibilities include defining back-end database structures from a logical or application-oriented perspective to ensure that all front-end development efforts correlate with the appropriate tables and fields required by the system. Also defines logical views and works with the database administrator to create physical data structures.
ERP Application Architect
OTHER TITLES: Sr. PeopleSoft/SAP Architect, Sr. ERP Consultant, ERP Technical Architect, CRM Application Architect
EXPERIENCE: 6+ years
EDUCATION: BS/BA Highly Preferred
JOB DESCRIPTION: Specific expertise in solving complex ERP Application integration business solutions. Primarily organizes business and functional requirement and designs the appropriate solutions within packaged ERP applications. Is involved in determining the long-range strategic direction of systems and manages the process and business model changes required to make an ERP/CRM solution successful. Provides applications and administration expertise in specific technical areas or modules. Will typically work with a development team as the Sr. business solution resource and provide solution capabilities to the technical team as well as the end user/customer. Requires significant expertise in applicable application and technology and bring a dynamic problem solving ability to meet the demands of enterprise integration.
ERP SW Integration/Implementation Specialist
OTHER TITLES: ERP developer, CRM developer, ERP configuration specialists
YEARS EXPERIENCE: Junior 1-2 years/ Mid-level 3-5 years/ Senior 6+ years
EDUCATION: BS/BA Preferred
CERTIFICATION/TRAINING: Specific ERP CERTIFICATION: SAP, Peoplesoft, Baan, QAD
JOB DESCRIPTION: Analyzes and designs system specifications for integrating all business processes into a single company-wide business system. Requires knowledge of multiple business areas including manufacturing, distribution, customer service and accounting. Also requires knowledge of process engineering and re-engineering with strong communications skills and solid documentation skills, plus an in-depth understanding ERP/MRP software packages. Frequently participates on projects to customize ERP/MRP packages to better meet the specific needs of the organization.
