A Web site that is specialized for the small screens of mobile phones. When requests are made to a company's main URL, it includes the type of browser used, and the site can redirect requests from mobile browsers to the mobile Web site. Browsing to answers.com from a computer returns the page at the top, but if the request comes from a mobile phone, the page from mobile.answers.com comes back instead. Although any regular Web page can be scrolled in a mobile browser, it is much easier to read a page formatted for a tiny screen.
