It may refer to cellphones and other handhelds, network appliances (routers, access points, modems) and myriad consumer electronics products. It may refer to the electronics in cars, trains, planes and space vehicles. It may also refer to specialized, back-office servers that support a particular infrastructure such as a cellular network.
