(1) (Mobile User Interface) A graphical user interface (GUI) for smartphones and other handheld wireless devices. Designed to accommodate small screens, an MUI may include a physical keyboard, soft keys or touch screen (see smartphone keyboard). In order to minimize textual input, MUIs may provide an autocomplete function, which using artificial intelligence (AI), may anticipate the word with only a couple keystrokes. See TUI and GUI.
