Microsoft's implementation of JavaScript. It is similar to JavaScript, but has extensions specifically for the Windows environment. Internet Explorer natively supports JScript and VBScript, and both scripting languages have their strengths and weaknesses for Web page programming. See JavaScript and VBScript.
